Ultra High Resolution Recorders
The 130-GSN Ultra-High Resolution Broadband Seismic Recorder is a customized version of the 130 that fully meets the GSN specifications. The 130-GSN is an ideal recorder for a permanent broadband installation for local, regional and global seismicity studies. The 130-GSN is housed in a metal case that can be rack mounted. The 130-GSN Recorder is supplied in 6-channel configuration with built-in Sensor Calibration Board. The sensor control function generates under user control step, sine, swept sine and random calibration signals along with the necessary sensor control signals. The scheduled calibration sequence is programmable by the end-user. Up to 16 channels of auxiliary data may be recorded as a continuous, 16-bit data stream. Three auxiliary channels are provided on each of the two sensor connectors. A separate AUX connector provides input for 8 additional auxiliary channels. The remaining channels are connected internally.
Data telemetry using the REF TEK Protocol (RTP) is available via Ethernet or Serial PPP using UDP/IP. RTP is a sliding-window with positive acknowledgement error correcting telemetry protocol. It is used with virtually all types of communications equipment including Internet, Ethernet, Modem (digital or analog), GSM/GPRS, Spread Spectrum Radio, VSAT, etc.
Configuration information stored in each 130-GSN allows reconstruction of the complete recorder transfer function for all active data streams.
REF TEK Interface (RTI) software package provides command and control either over RTP or by direct connection using TCP/IP, real-time and interactive waveform diplay. Data can also be retrieved from the mass storage device by using FTP.
